_module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span>How Is the Anaconda Built?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span>The sculpture is being constructed in layers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol data-spread=\"false\" start=\"1\">\n<li>\n<p><span><strong>Skeleton:<\/strong><\/span><span> A base of wire mesh shapes the body of the anaconda.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><strong>Volume:<\/strong><\/span><span> Cardboard \u201chalf-moons\u201d define the form and thickness, using six sizes to create natural curves.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><strong>Surface:<\/strong><\/span><span> Paper and papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9 glue cover the structure to create a membrane.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><strong>Reinforcement:<\/strong><\/span><span> Fiberglass is applied over the paper layer for durability.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><strong>Tail &amp; Head:<\/strong><\/span><span> The tail is formed from fine chicken wire as a separate piece.
