The pictorial representations at Chiribiquete display a wide repertoire of sacred plants that were used as entheogens. This particular aspect constitutes a demonstration of the special and allegorical character of this place as a Center of Shamanic Thought, located in the heart of the Colombian Amazon. . In the images, there are records of plants used in the preparation of rapé (popo and yebé), as well as tobacco, yagé, and even some powerful poisons that were employed to know the universe and to ‘fly’ through the macrocosm.”
