En el último día de mi exposición Chiribiquete se organizó una charla del artista. Como parte de ese cierre, invité a dos grandes amigas y artistas —Mariela Domínguez y Ángela Romero— a crear una instalación multimedia. Les propuse como punto de partida el poema  Los primeros escritos, y a partir de ahí, ellas desarrollaron todo lo demás.

La voz que se escucha en el video pertenece a mi hermana, María Claudia.

La instalación consistía en una cortina partida por la mitad y colgada del techo. Un proyector lanzaba imágenes sobre la cortina, que estaba ubicada en el corredor donde colgaban mis cuadros. Para avanzar por el espacio, los visitantes debían atravesar la cortina, mientras el video se proyectaba de forma continua sobre su superficie.

On the final day of my Chiribiquete exhibition, an artist talk was organized. As part of the closing event, I invited two of my dearest friends and fellow artists—Mariela Domínguez and Ángela Romero—to create a multimedia installation. I proposed using the poem   the First Writings as a starting point, and from there, they took creative control and developed everything else.

The voice featured in the video belongs to my sister, María Claudia.

The installation consisted of a curtain split in two and suspended from the ceiling. A projector cast images directly onto the curtain, which was placed in the hallway where my paintings were hanging. To continue through the space, visitors had to walk through the curtain, while the video played continuously on its surface.
